Message from Dr. Ostler
Dear Ostler Orthodontics patients, family, and friends,
I opened Ostler Orthodontics in 1993, and after 30 awesome years of helping countless patients realize their beautiful smiles, I have decided to transition into retirement. It has been a pleasure to serve you and your families these many years. I will still be involved in the practice for several months to help this transition go smoothly. Then, I plan to spend my retirement years with my best friend and wife, Delene, as we visit our 11 grandkids, serve in our church, and explore the beauties of this world.
Over the past few years, I have been particular in my search for a colleague who shares the same dedication and commitment to excellence to care for my patients and their families as I have. And recently, I was introduced to Dr. Steven Bunker. Dr. Bunker fits this bill wonderfully.
Dr. Steven Bunker is a board certified orthodontist. He is passionate about striving for excellence and is excited to join our team. He received his dental degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, and graduated Valedictorian. He then completed a 2-year Orthodontic Residency at Tufts University in Boston, MA. He has been practicing for several years as an orthodontist in Spokane and, most recently, in Santa Fe, NM. Dr. Bunker has been anxious to get back to the Northwest, and I am happy to help him with that opportunity. Dr. Bunker is from Camas, WA. He is married to his sweetheart, Jennie, and they have three children. The Bunkers are excited to live in the Tri-City area and establish themselves in the community. They love to explore the outdoors and be together as a family. Dr. Bunker served a mission for his church before college and, as a result, is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Bunker is well-versed in clear aligner therapy, having graduated from the Aligner Intensive Fellowship. He is also excited to continue with the Damon Treatment Philosophy, which we at Ostler Orthodontics have found great success with.
Considering the high level of experience Dr. Bunker brings to the practice and our similarities in treatment philosophy, our transition will be a relatively simple one. I will continue to be involved in the practice to facilitate his integration into the practice in the care of our patients in treatment.
I am confident that the care you and your family will receive at Ostler Orthodontics with Dr. Bunker will continue to be first-rate. I look forward to being able to introduce Dr. Bunker to you.
